------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- extra business
with love from travis

1. drunk in the parlor car
basics were recorded at the shack (long island city), then overdubs and mixing were done at serious business (brooklyn), dec '03 - jan '04. dave's playing banjo. a bourbon on the rocks never fails.

2. to be alone with you
this bob dylan tune, originally issued on nashville skyline in 1969, seemed a perfect fit for the hearts since, well, we all love our ladies. we worked it in to our set on a few occassions and slapped it down for posterity on halloween 2004, the eve of a-ross' bright flight to los angeles. he delivers some vicious fuzz-bass on this completely live in the studio performance.
